Poetry in Transit, a community program patterned after London's Poems on the Underground, will be displaying poetry in advertising space on Luzerne County Transportation Authority (LCTA) buses. This year's program is featuring 12 regional writers whose work will be installed in the advertising space and will rotate over the buses throughout the next year. Each poem will feature artwork by Mark Golaszewski.
Here is what you can read if you take the bus in NEPA...
The Audience
The groove illuminates the band and the crowd is an amoeba
that flows in the vibrations
The funktified remix of resonance
and reintroduced rhythms of revolving oceans
swirl the audience in darkness
They stare wide eyed – wave after wave
wading, waiting in the dark
for their names to be recalled in melody

On the bus as opposed to "under the bus" lol--thank God for that, I'm tired of people talking about people being thrown under the bus haha.
